Thanks to everyone for the birthday and Father’s Day well wishes. Celebrated the day in Dallas area coaching my sons basketball team.

Thanks to all the Aggie Coaches that were a part of our Spring Student Coaching Seminar on the campus of TAMU, sponsored by the Student Coaches Association (SCA) and the Thornton-McFerrin Coaching Academy. We look forward to seeing those of you who are attending THSCA Conference this July in Houston. Please stop by our booth in the Vendor Hall and say Howdy! And use the attached QR code to RSVP for our Calling All Aggie Coaches Social, hosted but the Coaching Academy during Convention.
Additionally, I’ve included information regarding our Future Coaches of Texas program and information related to our Early Career Coaching Clinic (EC3) that will take place in late July. Both Aggie Coaches were presenters at this year's Texas High School Athletics Directors Association conference in Round Rock. The Coaching Academy is grateful for everything these two do for Texas A&M and the coaching profession across the state!

Howdy, Calling All Aggie Coaches!!! Just wanted to make you aware that the Texas A&M Coaching Academy Staff will be in attendance at the THSCA Annual Coaching Convention in San Antonio July 18 -20th. Our booth (11105) will be located next to the Past Presidents’ Lounge at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

We have come a long way over the last nine years and our excited about developing future coaches at A&M along with our partnership with THSCA as we continue to prepare, support and promote coaches and the coaching profession. One of our goals is to develop the Aggie Coaching Network, hope to see you in SA.

Hey Coach! I hope you are doing okay! I have a job opening for freshmen basketball and second sport. If you know of anyone that will be looking please send them my way. My email is [email protected]

I wanted to share a job opening with you to pass on to your students, and anyone else you feel may be interested in the job. The position is for head girls basketball at Clark High School, in Northside ISD. I will be applying for the head position as well, so if I do get it, we will be in need of an assistant. We are looking for someone who has aspirations of being a head coach one day.

If you have anyone particular in mind who lives in, or would be willing to relocate to San Antonio, please let me know. It is a rather demanding position, as we play 4 games a week in Northside, and this year they voted to play all 10 district teams twice, meaning we will have 18 district games. District will start for us on November 28th. Last year they zoned us, so we played everyone once, and only half of the schools twice.
