From the photographer: What a week!

The 97th Texas Municipal Fire School wrapped up today, and after spending the week behind the camera, I’m once again reminded of just how much goes on across Brayton Fire Training Field®.

From Rescue and Emergency Medical Responder classes to Fire and Hazmat training, there was no shortage of action—or great moments to capture. I watched students learn new techniques, sharpen familiar skills and push themselves through some challenging hands-on training.

One of the best parts of my job is getting a front-row seat to it all and trying to capture the moments that tell the story.

The 97th Texas Municipal Fire School is officially underway! The week kicked off Sunday with the annual Vendor Show at Reed Arena, where students, instructors, and industry partners connected over the latest equipment, technology, and innovations in the fire service.

It's going to be an exciting week of training, learning, and camaraderie. Stay tuned for highlights from throughout the school!
