SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Cost - $10.00 per person (to cover the rental fee). Parking is free. If you have any questions, please contact Sallye (Sorenson) Henderson - [email protected].
Saturday, October 8
10:30 am - Tour of the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial’s Lynn Stuart Pathway – group lunch at Napa Flats (on own). Self guided tour of the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, sponsored by Daisy (Sloan) White. No charge but you need to sign up in advance. Big Shots - PLAYERS WILL PAY BIG SHOTS DIRECTLY, WE’RE NOT COLLECTING FOR IT. 12:00 - 2:00pm. Big Shots is a family oriented multi-tiered virtual driving range. Each tee box is equipped with golf clubs/balls and a seating area. (Yes, you can bring your own clubs) A computer terminal is provided to program which virtual game participants wish to play. You don’t have to be a “skilled golfer” to play this event.
Your planning committee played Big Shots and had a blast. A beef/chicken taco buffet lunch will be served at each tee box at 12:30pm. Soft drinks, tea, and water are included. Adult beverages are available for purchase.
There is a bar and grill area on each floor for classmates and significant others not playing golf, to enjoy lunch. Unfortunately, due to safety concerns, only golfers are allowed on the playing concourse.
So Hey, Come Play. This will be a relaxing event with time for a “power nap” before Saturday night’s festivities at Pebble Creek Country Club. We need 19 players to get the taco buffet and 2 hours of playing time for $35 a player. We will arrange tee boxes by class, 6 to a tee box. The Big Shots website is: bigshots.com. If you have any questions, contact Carl Gough at [email protected].
6:00 – 10:00 pm - Pebble Creek Country Club – what a great way to wrap up a wonderful weekend spent with our friends. The A&M/Alabama football game is an away game but we will have large TV screens available so you don’t miss a play. $75.00 per person – cash bars available. We are requesting each class to send us names and photos of those who have passed so we can highlight them on our Memorial Table…honoring our classmates who have gone before us. Please send to Margaret (Durst) Godfrey - [email protected].
Sunday, October 9 – breakfast will be available at the Wyndham Garden Inn – complimentary for those staying at the hotel, all others on your own. This is a great way to wrap up a fantastic All 60’s Decade Reunion Weekend!
All reservations/payments must be received by September 7 as we have to turn in our guarantees. Please send your check to Katherine Edwards, 313 Pershing, College Station, Texas 77840. If you have any questions, you can contact her at [email protected]
