Preparing students for careers in technology. It is an association that provides resources, information, and services centered around the field of electrical and electronics technology. It is the world's largest technical society with hundreds of thousands of members. The Texas A&M chapter of the IEEE is very active with activites ranging from socials to competitions (e.g. IEEEXtreme Programming and a Formula 1 Hybrid Car competition) to presentations from corporations. Our chapter's goal is to help members become leaders in industry as well as promote fellowship amongst students studying in the electrical and electronics fields.

Registration is now OPEN for the IEEE Technothon, our fall hardware hackathon!! ⚡️ Create a hardware project with a team of up to 3 to win cool prizes at the end—we’ll provide the parts and host workshops throughout. Sign up with the QR code in the post!

💡 Virtual demos will be due in early November and select groups will advance to a final in-person presentation round.

❓Questions? We’ll be hosting an informational this evening (7 PM @ WEB 232) with specifics about the event, so pull up! Info regarding the schedule, parts handout, and judging will also be released in the upcoming week on our social medias.
