Andrew Webb is in Tokyo this week to present his ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology (UIST) paper, "Wearables as Context for Guiard-abiding Bimanual Touch." The paper is on work done during his internship at Microsoft Research with Michel Pahud, Ken Hinckley, and Bill Buxton. The Interface Ecology Lab is proud to announce that we are winners of a Microsoft Surface Hub Research award, for our proposal, "Collaborative Pen+Touch Information Composition Diagramming: Transforming Landscape Architecture". We are looking forward to working with new large format 4K pen+touch surface devices to support design ideation.
