Today, we honor the American flag and what we stand for: loyalty, honor and selfless service.
Happy Flag Day, Ags. 🇺🇸

Today, we honor former President George H.W. Bush on what would have been his 102nd birthday.
“We know in our heart … that our strength is a force for good,” he said of our nation, a call to service that Texas A&M is proud to answer.
Bush lived the values that define Texas A&M: service, character, duty and a commitment to something bigger than ourselves. His final resting place on our campus is a lasting reminder that he will always be part of the Aggie family.
Happy birthday, President Bush.

Texas A&M is being recognized nationally for our impact through service, civic involvement and community partnerships. We earned a 2026 Civic Engagement and Community Service Award from Insight Into Academia magazine, with BUILD serving as a demonstrated example of that commitment in action. The program was spotlighted in the "Mentorship in Action: Relationships Across Generations and Communities" category, one of just 51 programs featured nationwide in the magazine's April 2026 issue.

Courage on the cliffs and leadership on campus. That is the Aggie way. 👍
On June 6, 1944, James Earl Rudder '32 successfully led his men up the cliffs at Pointe Du Hoc as part of the D-Day invasion of Normandy.
Rudder would later become the 16th President of Texas A&M University, laying the groundwork for its transformation from a small, all-male military school to the premier institution of higher education it is today.

Today we honor the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 1944, when Allied forces faced impossible odds on the beaches of Normandy and changed the world. Aggies were among the brave who stormed those shores, their sacrifice forever woven into our university's legacy of selfless service. That legacy didn't end on the battlefield. It lives on in every Aggie who answers the call.
Howdy, Fernando Palomo!
