Project 64 Live Fire Training - Brayton Fire Training Field

A group of instructors working at the Transportation Emergencies Project #64 at the Annual Texas Municipal Fire School. This project initially began as "Project 17 - Vehicle Fires", transforming over the years to become what it is today. Some of the current instructors have been with the project 20 years or more, as it progressed from a simple car fire training evolution to a complex training prop involving flammable liquids, gases, passenger vehicles and commercial tank truck.

Today is a difficult day for many in the Dalhart area. That community lost two volunteer firefighters in the same tragic accident one year ago. And we wanted to take a moment to honor their lives and to remember with love all of the fallen firefighters across Texas who gave their lives while serving their communities. This job they do - it's not easy. And sometimes, they don't make it home. So we cannot forget their service or their sacrifice.
