Through engaging conversations, he encouraged students to think about how their choices behind the wheel can impact not only their own safety, but the lives of others on the road. Take off your baby’s bow when they are in their car seat.

As a first-time girl mom I had no idea. On the way home from the hospital my daughter’s bow fell right over her face. I jumped into the back and took it off immediately.

She was safe but it could have blocked her breathing. No one told me about this so I want other parents to know. Accessories in car seats can be dangerous. Simple cute things can become a hazard when your baby cannot move them.

Your baby’s safety comes first even before the cutest outfit.
