With graduation coming up, Class 171 has spent the past several months developing skills, gaining experience, and learning alongside one another. Through the knowledge shared by our instructors, use of a wide variety of equipment, including augmented reality technology, and countless hours spent training at our one-of-a-kind field, these students have experienced the hands-on training TEEX® is known for.

We are proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to celebrating them this Friday!

The academy is built through hundreds of moments like these.Every day brings a new challenge, a new lesson, and another opportunity to learn.

Fire Academy Class 171 continue building the skills they'll rely on throughout their careers, putting training into action through hands-on fire suppression exercises and practical skill development.

Proud to have our TEEX Fire Academy students take part in the Full-Scale Mass Casualty Exercise at Easterwood Airport this week.

Coordinated by Texas A&M University Emergency Management for Easterwood Airport, the exercise brought together fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies from the local, county, and state levels under Unified Command. For our students, it was a chance to see how coordinated response works beyond the classroom and how multiple agencies come together when it matters most.

Opportunities like this create unique experiences for the next generation of firefighters.

Future firefighters and EMS professionals got the chance to meet departments, ask questions, make connections, and get a closer look at where this career can take them at the first TEEX Fire & EMS Career Day of the year. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a great day!

This week, Academy Class 171 continued to study hose ops and fire streams, learned pump ops, knots and hitches, and more. Next week, they will study fire dynamics and forcible entry.
