Disabled Veteran Parking

Disabled Veterans who are visitors, faculty, staff and students
are exempt from the payment of fees for university parking. For details, visit the Texas A&M Transportation Services web site:

Parking For Customers with Disabilities Designated disabled parking spaces are for the exclusive use of vehicles displaying county-issued disabled hangtags or disabled license plates.

Cords for Graduating Student Veterans

Beginning this December, Texas A&M University will proudly recognize the commitment and selfless service of our military graduates. All active duty, National Guard, Reserve and US military veterans who have served honorably are authorized to receive and wear a red, white and blue cord at the graduation ceremony. These cords signify the appreciation that Texas A&M University feels toward our military and veteran students for their service and sacrifice.

To receive the cord, the Student Veteran and guests are invited to the 1st Aggie Military/Veteran Reception at 4 - 6pm on Wednesday, December 12th in the Stark Galleries (1st Floor MSC). More details on this event are included in the attachment.

Please share this information with your graduating students who Veterans.
