🎶 **Updated Summer Schedule!** ☀️🎵
Thanks to your feedback, we've made a few adjustments to our summer lineup and are excited to share our updated schedule! Whether you're joining us for June, July, or both, we'd love to make music with your family this summer.
A few highlights:
🎵 We shifted both Thursday Level 3 classes 15 minutes to make it easier for families with siblings to attend younger classes at the same time.
🎵 We hope to add Tuesday evening Foundations (4:30pm) and Level 4 (5:30pm) classes to the schedule for Summer Session 2!
Session 1: ends June 27th (you can still join!)
Session 2: July 6th – August 1st (register now!)

Music is a balm for the heart AND mind. Young brains are searching for order, and music helps make those connections that are essential to early childhood development and school readiness.

There are so many joyful musical sounds in a Kindermusik class. When the instruments come out, the smiles do, too! 🎶

"Our reactions to unusual sounds and sights can occur naturally, but grownups nurturing the listening skills, self-control (think: standing still to watch the hummingbird), and conversation it takes to really appreciate the beauty around us is critical for children."
5 Aesthetic Awareness Activities for Kids
Building aesthetic awareness goes hand-in-hand with developing listening skills, self-control, and more. Here are 5 easy ways to get started...

Little ears take in so much! Here's how you can ensure they're getting the most out of what they hear:
✓ Model being still and quiet as you listen
✓ Label the sound (That's a bird!)
✓ Mimic the sound (Caw! Caw!)

Try these ideas for sound scavenger hunts:
✓ Outdoor walk (animals, wind)
✓ In the kitchen (refrigerator hum, sink)
✓ At the playground (swings, slide)
And you can always come to a class to try out instruments!

🎵 More Than Just a Music Class 🎵
At first glance, a Kindermusik class might look like singing, dancing, playing instruments, and having fun with friends. And it is! But behind every activity is a purpose.
Kindermusik educators complete extensive training and certification before leading classes. We don't simply choose songs and activities we think children will enjoy—we follow a carefully designed, research-backed curriculum created by experts in early childhood development, music education, and learning science.
Every song, movement activity, instrument exploration, story, and family connection activity is intentionally selected to support your child's development. Through music, children build language skills, confidence, social-emotional awareness, coordination, creativity, listening skills, and so much more.
That's one of the biggest differences between Kindermusik and a casual singalong group. While children are having fun, they're also participating in a structured learning experience designed to nurture their whole development.
And the learning doesn't stop when class ends! Enrolled families receive access to the Kindermusik App, filled with music, activities, stories, and resources to continue the learning and connection at home.
✨ Registration is currently open for both our Summer Session and the upcoming 2026-2027 School Year!

Summer Session 1 kicks off tomorrow, and we have some FUN themes planned for the month ahead!
Each week, our classes will explore these themes through music, movement, hands-on activities, instruments, stories, and play-based learning. Enrolled families also get access to the Kindermusik App so the musical fun can continue at home all week long!
🎵 *Foundations: Peekaboo!*
A house with a baby is a house full of love… and fun, toys, and noise too! In Peekaboo!, we explore the playful patterns of repetition, anticipation, and surprise through vocal play, sensory exploration, and interactive games.
☀️ *Level 1: Hello, Day!*
Rise and shine! We’ll greet the day with all of our senses as we stretch high and low, blow away morning dew, practice fine-motor skills, and even play games to use at bath-time.
🐾 *Level 2 & Mixed Ages: Pet Parade*
Gather your critters—it’s time for some adorable fun! We’ll gallop like horses, scamper like mice, swim like fish, and fly scarves like birds while building vocabulary, imagination, coordination, and more.
🦁 *Level 3: Wild Animal Park*
Pack your explorer hat! We’ll slither like snakes, pounce like leopards, and discover amazing animal habitats from rainy jungles to dry deserts. And of course, no visit is complete without the jungle hokey-pokey!
🎼 *Level 4: Feel the Music*
How does music make us feel? In this unit, we’ll explore emotions in music and discover how composers use sound to express feelings. We’ll even experience the music of one of the masters of emotion himself—Ludwig van Beethoven!
We can’t wait to make music with everyone this summer! Want to join in on the fun? Registration is open throughout the summer, so you can jump in whenever!💛
