At the ENRTA Main Office, we received a munch needed 3.4 inches of rain this past weekend! Our native planting sure needed! It was getting a little crispy in Brazos County.

🌾 Perennial Grass Spotlight: Fall Witchgrass 🌾
This warm-season native thrives in dry, rocky, or sandy soils across West Texas. Growing 12–30 inches tall, Fall witchgrass provides fair grazing for livestock and has a unique twist—its seed heads break off at maturity and tumble away like little tumbleweeds.

Big thank you to the RWFM & TAMU Plant ID Students that came out this morning along with Dr Shehane. They helped with a native landscaping at our new building. We planted a mix of local potted natives and did a little bit of hand seeding!
