The development of critical thinking does not happen by accident- it must be cultivated intentionally. Children who can reason and understand concepts deeply will be well-equipped for the future. At Beyond the Page, nurturing children’s critical thinking skills is a foundation of our program.

In a world filled with AI, endless information, and constant change, critical thinking helps children become wise learners, confident decision-makers, and capable adults.
We must prepare our children to navigate higher education and to be valuable and productive members of society. In addition to important academics, they must learn to be informed, caring citizens prepared for a competitive job market.
All of these skills are essential and should be built into the academic activities our children engage in and the discussions we have with them.
In language arts, science, math and social studies/history your child will learn to think critically about the information they are learning. They will be given the tools needed to practice critical thinking daily.
When students use Beyond the Page curriculum, parents can be confident that their children are engaging in daily activities that are training them to become critical thinkers.
