Camryn is one of our INCREDIBLE piano instructors here at Breakthrough Music School!

Now I’m her 4th year teaching at Breakthrough (she joined us in October 2022!), she brings over 15 years of piano experience to our school! Camryn is classically trained with a love for contemporary style music! She especially enjoys working with students that are just beginning their musical journey, helping them build a strong foundation in piano while discovering their own musical talent and style. She loves connecting with each student — adapting lessons to fit individual learning preferences and music goals!

“Howdy! My name is Corbitt Armstrong, and I’m a Senior at Texas A&M University. I’ve played Piano for the last 14 years, Guitar & Bass for 8, and Drums for 3. I played in my High School’s Jazz Band, specializing in improvised solos, and have since led worship at church and at camp in the summers! Music has been such a large part of my life, I love sharing it with others so that they can enjoy it as much as I do!”

Meet Brody, one of our talented piano and guitar instructors here at Breakthrough Music School!

Brody has been teaching with us for almost a year and brings a genuine love for helping students grow in their musical journey. With five years of piano experience and four years of guitar, he has always had a passion for creating and sharing music.

From performing in musical theater to playing keys for his church, music has always been a huge part of Brody’s life. His favorite part about teaching is seeing a student’s face light up when they play a song for the first time or when a tricky concept finally “clicks.”

Outside of teaching, Brody is pursuing a degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University, and enjoys finding time to play music with friends.

Meet Brandon, one of our amazing guitar and piano instructors here at Breakthrough Music School!🎸🎹

He’s been playing piano for 8 years and guitar for 5! His love for music started with playing worship music on stage in high school, which he continues in college as a keys and bass player for Grace Southwood. Off stage, he enjoys rocking out to folk, country, pop, and classic rock, and even runs his own sound production business providing gear and mixing for worship sets and events!

When it comes to teaching, Brandon loves helping students learn songs they want to play — guiding them through the chords, notes, and progressions until they can proudly show off their favorite tunes to family and friends. We are so thankful to have Brandon on our Breakthrough team🤟

🎤🎵Meet Abbi, another one of our INCREDIBLE voice instructors at Breakthrough Music School!

With over a decade of singing experience and a degree in Performance Studies from Texas A&M, she’s trained in classical, jazz, contemporary, and pop styles. While she loves teaching all genres, jazz and contemporary music have a special place in her heart.

Her favorite part of teaching? Watching her students’ confidence grow as they master new skills—whether it’s nailing a tough section of a song or feeling more ease in their singing! The satisfaction on their faces makes every lesson worth it!

Another fun fact about Abi: She minored in Italian (and she is a big fan of Italian opera!), and spent 6 years competing in a ca****la, even making it to the ICCA finals — the real-life Pitch Perfect competition! We love Abbi and are so thankful to have her on our Breakthrough team! 🫶
