BattleGround to Breaking Ground Battleground to Breaking Ground is for military veterans and beginning farmers & ranchers ranchers to start production agriculture businesses.

The program offers education, workshops, and a holistic training program for starting agriculture businesses. We provide several training and education opportunities for veterans and beginning farmers & ranchers. These include:

• The traditional year-long Battleground to Breaking Ground (BGBG) program.
• The BGBG-Skills Training Program - a DoD approved Skillbridge program designed specifically for military members to attend as they transition out of military service.
• BGBG Bootcamp-Intro to Ag Production - a 5-day training event for those brand new to agriculture or thinking about going into farming.
• Introduction to Farm Concepts & Business Planning Online Course - an interactive online course for those looking for basic understanding of farm planning and production.
