The Center for Retailing Studies was created in 1983 to meet the demand for highly-educated innovators in the fast-paced world of retail. Since its founding, the Center has become a renowned source of industry knowledge and a pipeline for developing leaders in the retail sector. We work in collaboration with Mays Business School to provide an excellent repertoire of coursework, internship, and leadership opportunities for professionals interested in all facets of the retail experience. Mays students took on Bentonville! 🏙️🛒

Last week, three standout sophomores headed to Arkansas for the Walmart Sophomore Summit in the Merchandising Track. From touring the Layout Center to hearing from Chief Talent Officer Lorraine Stomski, they got a front-row seat to retail at a massive scale.

The Highlights:
✨ Joy Pritz (Business Honors & Marketing) explored the new campus and networked with peers in stressed in retail from across the nation.

✨ Ana-Lucia Arrow (Marketing) gained insights into customer-centered strategies and Walmart’s culture.
