Thanks to Capital Area Quarter Horse Association for putting on a fun show to end our summer. We loved the casual/beach theme. Congrats to Lily on her Hi Point Classic Youth and to Emma on her Hi Point Ranch Youth and Reserve Classic Youth.

It’s been a fun spring and summer for the Capstone Crew—from bittersweet last college rides to World Championships and everything in between! Love you all dearly and thanks for the ride; you guys make my job fun! Looking forward to more adventures to come!

Well, 2020, you have been quite the roller coaster of years! And the bumps and turns aren’t yet completed. As I reflect over this year, the term that best wraps it up in my mind is gratitude. I am thankful for wonderful customers that I consider my friends; for those willing to give to others in their time of need; for teammates that had bumps in the road this year but still came and cheered on their friends; for those that faced challenges and enjoyed the journey of this year; for all of the smiles and tears of the year (some happy, some not so much); for goals completed and for goals not yet met; for positive attitudes while 2020 churned on; for healthy horses while we wait for a couple to make their return; and for wonderful parents who continue to share their families with me. Thank you to each of you and congratulations on your accomplishments at the 2020 ApHC World Show! Love you all dearly.

For Sale—will be showing at the Youth World Show. Gus is a great minded, gentle giant, all around gelding that could easily be maintained by a non pro at home. He’s also suitable for novice riders/walk trot. Watch for him in the 13 and under/novice classes. Very reasonably priced to a good home.

The Crew finally got to attend a horse show again! 2020 Texas State 4-H Horse Show was a fun one! Thank you to the Texas AgriLife and all county agents/volunteers that gave this opportunity to the youth. Congratulations to all on their successes.

Huge congratulations to Claire Beesaw on winning two scholarships at the San Antonio Show! She and Benji were hi point Western, hi point All Around and reserve hi point English in the open 14-18 division. Way to go Claire!

Finally caught up on rest enough to share about our past week at the Texas State 4-H Horse Show. We were fortunate enough to have it close to home and moving it to the Brazos Expo seemed to be a positive move with entries increasing in all divisions. It was a challenging week for my younger riders and gave them so many learning opportunities and some great success as well. Congratulations to all of the Crew! It was quite a fun week with many laughs and cherished time with great friends. The fabulous CREW ended their show season with a bang! Now time for some R and R!

We’re home from the 2019 Youth World show. I started strong but fell behind on the daily posting again! We had a great show and lots of wonderful fellowship due to our great Crew.

The thank you list is long! I can’t thank Evelyn Beesaw enough for her early morning feedings, keeping me on track and helping all the girls with her loving spirit; I couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you to Emily for continuing the tradition by coming up to band and to cheer us on! Thank you to all the parents that fed us each night and allowed us to gather as a group. Thank you to all the Crew members that sat in the stands cheering on their barn mates. Thank you to those that called me and gave me encouragement to help me through the week—you know who you are!
