Working with this retired couple helping them downsize their belongings after a full life of kids and work has been so rewarding. 🏆

A life time is a long time to accumulate clutter, so 11 months is a great amount of time to have accomplished so much.

We still have some way to go still but the major goals of emptying the attic, emptying the storage unit, and getting the garage and living areas manageable have been accomplished. Now it's just narrowing down the clutter even more.

Happy Birthday to Me and Mini Me is soon to be! 💕

It's a girl!

Today on my birthday with my daughter on the way, I feel the urge to slow down and look at what I have to be grateful for...

🩺 Healthy me and healthy baby
📦 Clients to serve who keep me housed and fed
🏡 Great apartment in a great town
🕑 Flexible schedule and free time to rest
🥗 Healthy food and plenty of it
✝️ Someone who loves me more than anyone else and who created me and died to save me

I am so blessed and so will my little girl be blessed.

Despite all that is horrible, painful, and cruel in this world, I have things to be thankful for every day, and today I am extra aware of them.

May you slow down and appreciate the little things today too.

New pantry furniture filled!

Some kitchens have more floor space than storage space. And that's okay. You can always add a piece of furniture or two to help fill the gap.

As a first time mom (even as a declutter coach and minimalist), I am really feeling the pressure to put a million things on my baby registry.

However, there is also a strong voice in my head telling me to not ask for or buy too much... because where the heck am I going to store it all!

More stuff doesn’t equal more convenient. The opposite is actually true.

The less I own, the simpler and easier my life is. ✨ That was true before, and it will continue to be true with a newborn.

I know firsthand how overwhelming it is to live in a house full of half-finished projects, dusty keepsakes everywhere, and piles that seem to multiply overnight. 😩

You are NOT 🛑 lazy or unorganized. You are just stuck in a space that no longer fits your life.

That’s why I started this business. Because I believe every woman deserves a home she is proud of. 🏡👸🏼You deserve to walk through your front door and feel relaxed 🧘‍♀️ (rather than seeing a to-do list staring back at you out of every room).

Some news has been growing quietly behind the scenes…

Jorge and I are going to have a baby!

We're very excited and can't wait to meet him or her this summer.

LONGER LIFE UPDATE:
My boyfriend Jorge and I have been dating for over 4 years now and living together for about 3. And although this little one is a surprise, we are so happy and ready to start our family. We live (and plan to stay) in College Place, WA.

This is my first pregnancy. And as I am the first of my 5 siblings, this makes my siblings into aunts and uncles, my parents into grandparents, and my grandparents into great grandparents for the first time. They all are excited. Love you guys 🥰

We'll be finding out the gender in a few months and will post again then. So, keep your eyes peeled 👀

I will probably be taking most of the summer off in-person client work to take care of baby full time, so if you would like to work together in person before then, get on my calendar now! DM me now to get started.

And for family and friends, if you would like to visit us this summer, (although we don't have a guest room), feel free to ask via DM or text at 509-956-9833.

I am nervous, but also really looking forward to this new chapter of life and what it holds in store. For now, we would appreciate your prayers and texts checking in (and hand-me down baby things if you are decluttering them!). Laundry room decluttered and organized ✅️

So happy to do a refresh session with this client this past week.

She was feeling stressed 😵‍💫 with how her laundry room had gone back to the way it had been before working with me the first time.

It's where most of her "What do I do with this?" items end up.

But in under 2 hours we had it back to it's former glory and even got to organizing some of the cupboards we hadn't done before.

Don't beat yourself up when the clutter creeps back. Especially if only in one or two places. There are always new stuff coming into our space. We just have to take the time to purge and put away again.
