On November 13th, we hosted Elevate! Diverse Founders: Creatives celebrating the entrepreneurial journeys of individuals from diverse artistic and underrepresented backgrounds. In collaboration with Arts for All, the event welcomed students, staff, faculty, and alumni to explore the unique challenges, opportunities, and solutions involved in bringing creativity to life at UMD and beyond.

Thank you to our inspiring panel of speakers who represented a wide array of creative disciplines in the Greater DC area:

Each panelist shared their journey of launching and sustaining businesses that monetize artistry, offering insights into the power of creative expression as a vehicle for entrepreneurship. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Gildenhorn Recital Hall to celebrate creativity and innovation!!
