🌟NATIONAL HISTORY DAY WINNER🌟

This year was NHD’s 50th anniversary and I had the amazing opportunity to represent California in the category of Junior Individual Performance. Out of more than 2600 students in the National competition I won second place!! This was such an honor and a wonderful end to my three year journey to participate in NHD CA. I have so many people I would like to thank.

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to my teachers and my family who have all helped me to be where I am today. Thank you for everything!!

HUGE SHOUTOUT TO: !!! I could not have done this without your help. Your kind words of motivation always kept me going and I am extremely sad that I will not be able to represent California for the future NHD competitions. However, I will always remember the effect that you have had on me, and I hope to see you next year at the National Competition. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to go to Maryland and to compete in this wonderful competition. I am so thankful for all the unforgettable memories.

As the school year comes to a close, there was an awards night to celebrate all the 8th graders at our wonderful school of Sierra Vista. Thank you everyone for these unforgettable memories and let’s keep in touch! For me, I won the President’s Award for Educational Excellence (for maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout middle school), Certificate of Achievement from my History teacher, and the Charger Award which only 5 in the graduating 8th grade class receive. Let’s all keep in touch! And once again huge thank you to for this opportunity!!
