USDA Announces Whole-Farm Revenue Protection Program Improvements | RMA WASHINGTON, September 16, 2020 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Risk Management Agency (RMA) announced modifications to the Whole-Farm Revenue Protection (WFRP) program to decrease paperwork and recordkeeping burdens for direct marketers beginning with the 2021 crop year.

Plans are underway for the 2019 Crop Insurance Workshop to be held October 8 at the Comfort Inn, 4500 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20716. You can register at https://go.umd.edu/CropIns2019
The workshop will feature speakers covering the latest information related to the federal crop insurance program including ongoing trade disputes and potential impacts on crop insurance, potentials for crop insurance covering h**p in 2020, and an update on the implementation of the 2018 Farm Bill. Complete agenda will be forthcoming.
The workshop is free to attend with lunch provided. Registration is required before the event to give an accurate count for food.
