HERES TO OUR SENIORS ( 2/2)

1. .ganatra graduated with a degree in Computer Science. His future plans involve hiking Thru-hiking the Vermont Long Trail this summer and looking for a Software Engineering Job!

2. .lg earned a degree in sociology and a minor in human development.
Her future plans involve working as the graduate assistant of sport programs at Georgia southern university and pursue her masters in public administration!

3. achieved a double major Criminology and English. She plans to work through a gap year while studying and taking the lsats!

4. graduated with a degree in Operations management/business analytics and supply chain management. Chris will be a Supply chain analyst at PepsiCo!

5. .gartner13 earned a degree in Government and Politics and a minor in Philosophy and leadership studies. His next step is law school!

6. graduated with a degree in Animal science. She will be working on a dude ranch in Wyoming for the summer and then going to Purdue college of veterinary medicine in the fall!

1. Our PA .makadia graduated with a degree in psychology and a minor in neuroscience. Her future plans involve taking the MCAT and preparing to apply to medical school!

2. Out PA graduated with a degree in Communications and a Minor in General Business. She plans to travel this summer and work in digital marketing!

3. earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is headed to graduate school back at UMD!

4. achieved a degree in Environmental Science and Policy, Culture and the Environment and a Minor in Nonprofit Leadership and Social Innovation. She will be working in Bethany this summer and plans to work within the field of the Environmental nonprofit sector!

5. earned a degree in Environmental Science and Policy. Her future plans involve traveling to Europe and then applying the work force!

6. graduated with a degree in information science and a minor in general business. Her future plans involve working for the department of defense in the fall!

We are thrilled to announce this year’s UMD Club Sports Awards winners, recognizing the outstanding achievements and spirit of our amazing club sports teams and members.

🏅 Spirit of Club Sports: Congrats to Caleb White (Club Roundnet member and Club Sports supervisor) for representing the true spirit of Club Sports with exceptional leadership and involvement.

🏅 Terrapin Community Award: Women’s Ultimate Frisbee is honored for their incredible community service efforts, actively giving back to the University.

🏅 Fundraising Award: Club Running has shown outstanding commitment to fundraising, enabling significant program growth and financial freedom.

🏅 Club Sport of the Year: The highest honor goes to Club Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for their exceptional organization and commitment to members, SGA, RecWell, and the University.

🏅 Coach of the Year: Camryn Grindle (BJJ and Wrestling) is recognized for excellence in coaching and mentorship, making a significant impact on both teams.

🏅 Competitive Achievement Award: Club Softball is awarded for their remarkable athletic achievements, making Nationals for the first time and showing great perseverance!

CONGRATULATIONS to your 2024 NCLL National Champs!!! 🥇🏆
This past weekend our Men’s club Lacrosse team took on the Penn state Nitty Lions and came out victorious with an 11-8 win in SECU Stadium. 🥍This was the first time in program history with a championship won at home!!

Please join us in recognizing our club softball team for their amazing performance this past weekend 🎉

In their first ever regionals appearance in club history, they dominated their competition! Earning them a spot it the World Series!! 🏆

Regionals conquered, now it’s time for the big league! We’re beyond proud of our UMD Softball team clinching their spot at the National World Series in Georgia! 🥎✈️

Shout out to women’s volleyball that traveled to nationals this past weekend! 🔥🏐 the black team placed 2nd in the gold bracket of the D1AA division and the red team placed 2nd in the gold bracket of the D2/D3 division!! THREE girls even made the all tournament team (MVP of the tournament) ‼️‼️ .wcv congrats on a good season and awesome job at nationals!!

Last weekend club running traveled to Richmond, VA for nationals! The men’s team placed 12th and women’s team placed 13th in the NATION‼️🏆 Both teams are now preparing for an upcoming home meet in less than 2 weeks, be sure to come and support!

🚨🚨CLUB SPORT HIGHLIGHT🚨🚨

¿Estás interesado en jugar al rugby? The Maryland Rugby Club just traveled abroad to Spain for their Spring break tour. The team practiced with elite coaches and played against high level teams in Barcelona and Madrid. While abroad the team was able to immerse themselves in Spanish culture. They toured the ancient city of Toledo, visited the historic La Sagrada Familia, met the mayor of Yuncos, among many other amazing activities. Are you interested in playing rugby and traveling?
