Beekeeping Club at UMD

Beekeeping Club at UMD An educational club for aspiring beekeepers, we manage hives located on campus and welcome anyone in

We manage beehives on campus and endeavor to educate students about bees and beekeeping through hands-on experience and lectures. We meet on Thursdays, 6:00-7:00 pm at the Plant Science Building (PLSC) in the conference room 2107 and conduct inspections of our hives in the field every Saturday at 11:00 am by the stream south of the Xfinity Center. ALL students are welcome, REGARDLESS OF BEEKEEPING EXPERIENCE OR ABILITY TO MAKE INSPECTIONS! Anyone with a passion or curiosity about bees should consider joining.
