Terps for Change

Volunteer Applications are OPEN for Terps for Change Fall 2026! 🐢

Looking for a way to get involved, meet new people, and make an impact in the local community? Apply to be a Terps for Change volunteer!

Applications close Friday, September 11 at 11:59 PM. Apply using the QR code/link in our bio or visit stamp.umd.edu/t4c to learn more.

Through Terps for Change, volunteers get involved in a variety of hands-on service opportunities with local community partners. From tutoring and food pantry assistance to sustainable farming and more, volunteers spend 2–3 hours each week serving in a social issue area they care about.

But T4C is about more than service! Volunteers also participate in weekly facilitated dialogues where they reflect on their experiences, explore the root causes of social issues and systemic inequities, and learn how they can take meaningful action.

Along the way, you’ll become part of a community of UMD students committed to serving, learning, and growing together.

T4C is an opportunity to build connections, develop leadership and professional skills, and make a difference alongside your fellow Terps.

Ready to commit to serve? 🐢
Apply by September 11 and join us for Fall 2026!
