Happy Founders Day to the men of Sigma Chi who were founded at Miami University in 1855! They were installed at the University of Maryland on May 16, 1942 and reinstalled on September 27, 2009 - have a great day celebrating! @sigmachiumd.

60s Sigs Annual Reunion in Lancaster, VA.

The Chapter hosted Parents Weekend last Saturday at one of our satellite houses in Old Town College Park. 70 parents or so joined the Actives to enjoy a beautiful spring day.

We have initiated our spring pledge class, consisting of 23 young men led by their Magister, Ben Pearcy, who is situated in the top row center.

We would like to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of Ritual Peers Rocky Benedetto and Bruce Casner, as well as the exceptional leadership provided by Chapter Advisor Ramses Gerais. Furthermore, we appreciate the support from 80s Gamma Chi Alumni, Barry DesRoches, Chris Kennedy, David Vespoint, Mark Hoye, and Scott Werber, who arrived early this morning to assist.

Brothers & Friends, we gathered on campus this afternoon for a White Rose Ceremony to pay our respects to Significant Sig and Distinguished Gamma Chi alum Pedro Wasmer '62, who entered the Chapter Eternal last summer.

We were joined by two other Gamma Chi Significant Sigs and contemporaries of Brother Wasmer, Congressman Steny Hoyer and George Doetsch, Jr., as well as one of Pedro's adult children, Conrad.

We appreciate Bruce Casner's efforts in conducting the Ceremony and the participation of over 40 Actives, who honored Brother Wasmer's memory.
