As a teacher-led organization, UMdWP’s goal is to respond to the needs of teachers of writing in our surrounding counties.

The UMdWP, housed in the Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership is co-directed by Maggie Polizos Peterson, Assistant Clinical Professor in Elementary Education and Beth Singleton, Doctoral Candidate in English Education.
