University of Maryland ΛXA "Never Settle" Within our chapter, we focus on academics, athletics, and philanthropic events throughout the year.
The Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at the University of Maryland (Epsilon-Pi Chapter) prides itself on having the closest brotherhood on campus. Some recent Lambda Chi achievements/events include:
-An average GPA consistently above the all-men's average
-First place in fraternity league volleyball
-Second place in fraternity league basketball
-Third place overall in Homecoming Week
-Raising over $8,
000 for the Ronald McDonald House with our annual philanthropy, Hoops for Kids
-Made over 6,000 PB&J sandwiches for the homeless on McKeldin Mall in conjunction with the Love Movement
-Hosted and ran a Suicide Prevention Week
Nationally, Lambda Chi is one of the largest all-male fraternities in the world, having initiated over 268,000 brothers since its founding in 1909. There are currently chapters at over 300 locations. Some famous alumni of Lambda Chi include:

All students seeking to join our chapter must meet 4 of the 5 following requirements to be considered for membership:
A minimum GPA of 3.0
Leadership Experience
Membership in at least 1 UMD club
Active in sports
Exemplary Character
