Muslim Alumni of Maryland

Muslim Alumni of Maryland The Official page of the University Recognized Muslim Alumni of Maryland (MAM) Network.

The Muslim Alumni of Maryland aims to foster a network of spiritually conscious, community oriented, and professionally connected alumni, who act as committed supporters of their alma mater and Muslim life at the University of Maryland College Park. Whether you are graduated this past semester or it has been years since your time on campus, the Muslim Alumni of Maryland (MAM) aims to connect you with the thousands of graduates who have experienced what it means to be a Muslim Terp. We are founded on a sincere love for the University of Maryland and the desire to support the students, communities and experiences that exist within its campus.

On August 30, 2021 there will be an official grand opening to students & alumni for the start of the Fall semester. We invite and encourage all alumni to come be part of this historic event and get a glimpse of this new space that is essential to the transformation of so many young, Muslim lives in our area, God willing.

The event will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a lineup of speakers including the UMD Muslim Chaplain, Tarif Shraim and multiple University officials.

There will also be ample opportunity to network and make new connections! All alumni welcome!
