A mother once divided her only date between 2 daughters, keeping nothing for herself.

When the Prophet ﷺ heard of her, he said,
“Whoever is tested with daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire.”
(Bukhari 5995, Muslim 2629)

On December 13, our Hifzh School girls hosted a beautiful evening honoring the mothers who bore them through hardship upon hardship, and the daughters who, by Allah’s permission, will become a source of ongoing reward. 💕

May Allah reward every mother, and let the daughters they raise upon the Qur’an be a light for them in this world and the next.

SubhanAllah, guided by his aunt through Al Qaidah Al Nooraniya, and by his mother through his first full Qur’an reading before second grade, Mustefa’s family has brought us to our 153rd Hifzul Qur’an! 📖🎉

Alhamdulilah, after countless hours and just over four years of determination, 18-year-old Adyan has completed his hifdh journey at Dar-us-Salaam’s Hifzh School. Allahu Akbar! 🥳🎉

To aspiring huffadh, Br. Adyan reminds us that hifdh is a commitment to patience and discipline:
“Don’t focus on the end, because the Qur’an is 604 pages. Focus on what you’re doing.”

Living by his own advice, Adyan’s next goal is to study the Arabic language to enhance his understanding of the Qur’an.
