This is the ayah Allah chose for our 156th hifzh graduate, Khalid Mohammed, to complete his memorization of the Quran with:

“If Allah were to punish people ˹immediately˺ for what they have committed, He would not have left a single living being on earth. But He delays them for an appointed term. And when their time arrives, then surely Allah is All-Seeing of His servants.”
📖 Qur’an 35:45

Congratulations Khalid! 🎉

May Allah make the Qur’an Khalid’s constant companion, his comfort, and his witness on the Day his appointed term arrives. May his family and teachers be rewarded for every letter he has memorized. Allahumma Ameen. 💙

A mother once divided her only date between 2 daughters, keeping nothing for herself.

When the Prophet ﷺ heard of her, he said,
“Whoever is tested with daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire.”
(Bukhari 5995, Muslim 2629)

On December 13, our Hifzh School girls hosted a beautiful evening honoring the mothers who bore them through hardship upon hardship, and the daughters who, by Allah’s permission, will become a source of ongoing reward. 💕

May Allah reward every mother, and let the daughters they raise upon the Qur’an be a light for them in this world and the next.

JazakumAllahu khairan to every attendee who joined us at Dar-us-Salaam in support of our Qur’an programs!

After a little over two years, 15-year-old Mustefa Ali has completed the Qur’an! 🥳🎊

Congratulations Mustefa! May Allah bless Mustefa, his family, and teachers, and make the Qur’an a light for them on the Day of Judgment. May he always be a source of joy and dawah for others. Allahumma Ameen! 💙

Congratulations to our 152nd hifdh graduate, Br. Adyan Khan! 🎓🎊

Alhamdulilah, after countless hours and just over four years of determination, 18-year-old Adyan has completed his hifdh journey at Dar-us-Salaam’s Hifzh School. Allahu Akbar! 🥳🎉

To aspiring huffadh, Br. Adyan reminds us that hifdh is a commitment to patience and discipline:
“Don’t focus on the end, because the Qur’an is 604 pages. Focus on what you’re doing.”

Living by his own advice, Adyan’s next goal is to study the Arabic language to enhance his understanding of the Qur’an.

May Allah bless Adyan, his family, and teachers, and make the Qur’an a light for them on the Day of Judgment. May he always be a source of joy and comfort for his family, and a means of dawah for others. Allahumma Ameen! 💙
