I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee, and have been studying Spanish for 10 years. I began learning Spanish in sixth grade. From the moment I started, I fell in love with the language. When I came home from school after my first day in class, I was already speaking in full sentences. On day one, I made the decision to become fluent in Spanish, and I’m so glad I did! unate to have an amazing Spanish teacher who motivated me to learn more each day. With her help, my Spanish proficiency blossomed so much that I received my school’s Outstanding Spanish Student Award for three consecutive years. In December 2020, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Spanish. In January 2021, I passed a Spanish Oral Proficiency interview administered by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. After so many years of study, Spanish has become one of my greatest passions. Through Speak Now Spanish Tutoring, I want to share that passion with as many people as possible. I want to show my students that learning a language can be fun and exciting. Spanish is also an incredibly valuable skill in both personal and professional settings.
