Did you know this year the state of Indiana will be giving schools letter grades again?
What does that mean for us?
Attendance will be one factor that plays into our letter grade. State tests will be another.

Every. Single. Day. Counts. We need our kids to be at school every day.
Vacations taken during the school year will count against us even if you fill out the vacation form. Please be mindful in scheduling appointments. I know it's hard for working parents-I'm one of them.

Every week I will be posting attendance statistics. Please take the time to read the difference it makes when our kids come to school every day!
Thanks for your help! Together, we can make a difference for our kids.

I've been reading this book to some classes this week! THUNDERCAKE. One of my favorite author's, Patricia Polacco! Also, one of my favorite books and rather fitting for this week! Perfect book to read for a rainy day!
