sit our program today with any questions you might have! At Shady Grove Wesleyan Preschool, we understand that placing your child in preschool programs is a big decision. We want to make your child’s experience at Shady Grove Wesleyan Preschool a memorable one, because we believe that solid early childhood programs are a stepping stone in their lives. We are open 9 am to Noon weekdays and accept children ages 14 months to 5 years of age. We desire to guide, cherish and educate your children. Our highly skilled staff will make sure that when your children graduate from our program, they will be kindergarten ready and will be looking forward to attending their next school. Our preschool programs are designed to encourage personal growth and share our faith through good deeds and fellowship. Throughout the year, we host several events designed to teach our children about the community around them and what it is to be a part of that community. Our passionate staff, all care deeply for you and your children. We want you both to feel comfortable and at home. Our teachers are readily available to meet with parents about their needs and concerns for their children. The Director’s door is always open to families. Currently, we have families from Greensboro, NC; Kernersville, NC; Colfax, NC; High Point, NC; and the surrounding areas. We would be happy to have you come in for a visit. Updates on registration for the 2026-2027 school year-

Generally we are able to pull some students off the waitlist over the spring and summer, so please register to be in the waitlist. You do not have to pay the registration fee if registering for a full/waitlisted class until we have a spot.

📝 IF YOUR PREFERRED CLASS IS FULL/WAITLISTED:

✏️ Spots often open as family needs change (for example, a child qualifies for public PreK or a family needs full-time care). We use our waitlist — created from completed registrations — to fill those openings.

✏️ If another schedule is available but not your preferred days, you may register for the schedule you would accept and note your preferred days on the form.
For example:
If you prefer MWF Twigs but would accept M-F Twigs, you may register for M-F and indicate that you would like to remain on the waitlist for MWF if a spot becomes available.

Registration for Fall 2026 opens to new families tomorrow at 8am!

If a class is full, please still complete registration to join our waitlist. Each year, plans change and openings may become available throughout the spring and summer.

If you’re considering SGW Preschool, we encourage families to consider beginning in our toddler (Acorns) or twos (Sprouts) classes when possible. Starting early often makes future placement smoother, as current families register first each year.

We are grateful for the families who trust us with these early years. 💜
