Hello Bulldog Families! Please join us this Saturday, 8/22 from 8am-11am for Campus Cleanup - Back to School edition hosted by our CES PTA. Together we can help tidy up our campus just in time for Back To School Night next week!

Campus cleanups and beautification days are a great way for busy families to help our school thrive outside of the school (and work) week. They are also a great way to help kids learn the value of community service by giving back in a setting where they will see the ongoing impact of their efforts each day and can take pride in their school environment.

Bring gloves and a favorite tool such as clippers, a w**d eater, a rake, a broom, a trash grabber, etc. Our primary goal for this campus cleanup is general tidying up ahead of back to school night. Coming up this fall we'll have days focused on vegetation clearing and improvement projects so dads (and moms!) can break out their tools. 😉

📣 Our First PTA Meeting of the School Year!

Join us Monday, August 17th from 6:00–7:30 PM in the library for our first PTA meeting of the school year! 💙 🐾

Everyone is welcome! We’ll be discussing new developments and starting to plan our Color Run/Jog-A-Thon coming up in September! 🏃‍♀️🎨

Volunteers are always needed to help make these events a success! If you’re interested in getting involved, come by the meeting or email us and let us know how you’d like to help. No amount of help is too small, and we’d love to have you! 🐾

🛹 MARK YOUR CALENDARS, COLFAX SKATEPARK FANS! 🛹

The wait is finally over — Opening Day is officially set for Saturday, October 3rd!

After 10 years in the making, the time has finally come to open the Colfax Skatepark to the public. We’re planning a fun-filled community event with plenty of activities and entertainment for the whole family.

Some members of our Opening Day working group are also working on bringing in professional skaters for special demonstrations throughout the event. Once we have the pros confirmed, we’ll announce who will be joining us!

What a great morning for the first day back to school! 🎉📚 CES PTA was so happy to welcome back our returning families and meet all of our new families with snacks, drinks, and plenty of Starbucks coffee to help kick off the school year! ☕️💙 We loved seeing all the smiling faces and can’t wait for an amazing year ahead! Go Bulldogs! 🐾✨

We’re so happy to share that CES PTA was able to purchase $500 worth of much-needed supplies for our Special Education Department! 🥰 We are always so grateful for the opportunity to lend a helping hand and support the amazing students and staff who make our school so special. We’re proud to be able to give back where we can and help provide the resources our students need to thrive! 🐾💙
