When & Then!

Stop saying “IF you don’t…” and start using WHEN/THEN. 👏🏼

“When you finish your homework, THEN you can watch TV.”

It keeps the expectation clear without turning it into a threat. Kids know exactly what needs to happen first AND what comes next. 🙌🏼

Simple language. Clear expectations. Less power struggles. More cooperation. ❤️

Save this for the next time you feel yourself repeating the same instruction 15 times. 😂

💜 Sweet Karli was once one of the little ones in my childcare, and now she has just graduated high school! It’s such a blessing to watch the children I’ve cared for grow into young adults. ❤️ I’m so thankful to hear Karli’s surgery is complete and will be keeping her and her family in my thoughts and prayers as she continues to heal and take the next steps in her cancer journey. 🙏💜 I’d love for others to lift Karli up in prayer as well, sending lots of love, prayers, and positive thoughts her way! ❤️
