🧡🖤 Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Nikki Moor! 🖤🧡

Meet Nikki Moor, a first-grade teacher at Coldwater Elementary who is in her 29th year of teaching! Nikki grew up in Coldwater and graduated from Coldwater High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Wright State University and her master’s degree from Marygrove College.

Nikki believes an outstanding teacher takes time to get to know each student and makes learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. She strives to create a classroom where students feel valued, supported, and excited to learn. Her advice to students is simple: “Do your best and be kind to others.”

One of Nikki’s favorite things about Coldwater Schools is the sense of family. “We all support one another and appreciate the job that each person does each day,” she shares.

⚾ Fun facts about Nikki:

She and her husband have visited 23 of the 30 MLB ballparks!

She is a HUGE Cleveland Browns and Kentucky Wildcats fan!

Her favorite quote, “Be Your Best,” is a wonderful reminder for all of us!

🚒 Thank you to the Coldwater Fire Department for welcoming our kindergarten students yesterday for a field trip during Fire Prevention Week!

Our volunteer firefighters did a fantastic job interacting with our Little Cavs and teaching them about fire safety. We appreciate the time, care, and dedication they give to our students and community!

Community partnerships like this bring learning to life and help our students get to know the people who keep them safe. Thank you for being such a valued partner to Coldwater Elementary! 🧡🖤

🧡🖤 Meet Mrs. Lily Muhlenkamp, one of our second-grade teachers at Coldwater Elementary!

Lily is beginning her first year of teaching in the community where she grew up and attended school! She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Wright State University–Lake Campus and is excited to make a difference in the same community that helped shape who she is today.

Lily believes an outstanding teacher builds meaningful relationships, makes learning fun, and helps every child feel confident in what they can accomplish. Her advice to students is: “Try your best, be kind to others, and don’t give up when something feels hard.”

Her favorite quote is a reminder for all of us: “Be the reason someone smiles today.” 😊

A few fun facts about Lily:
She got married this past April.
She and her husband are expecting their first baby in February.
She grew up in Coldwater and now lives in Indiana.

🧡🖤What a week of Coldwater spirit!

Last week, Coldwater Schools celebrated Spirit Week in honor of Homecoming, and our elementary students and staff made it a week to remember!

Our students had so much fun dressing up each day, and our teachers really joined in on the fun! It was wonderful to see everyone showing their school spirit and helping our students see just how much pride we have in being part of the Coldwater family.

We are so proud to be Coldwater Cavaliers!

Thank you to all of our students and staff for making Spirit Week such a fun and memorable celebration. Go Cavs! 🧡🖤
