🏐 7th Grade Girls Volleyball Tryouts!

There’s still time to join! We are looking for more 7th grade girls interested in playing volleyball this fall.

Tryouts:
📅 Tonight, Wednesday, August 26 & Thursday, August 27
⏰ 5:00–7:00 PM

A current sports physical is required to participate. Physicals are available through our school-based health clinic.

LMS girls volleyball and cross country will begin practice next week. (Football has already started, but they're looking for more players to join the 7th Grade team! Details in the Main Office.)

All middle school students trying out need to have a current physical (after 4/15/2026) on file in the CHS Athletic Office and be signed up in FinalForms.

First practice on August 24, 5:30 PM, in front of CHS.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Tryouts will be August 25, 26, and 27 at the LMS gym.

Our 6th grade WEB orientation was a great success this past Friday August 7th!

8th grade WEB leaders welcomed over 100 6th grade students to our building, they led small group games and activities and gave a tour of our building.

WEB leaders had lunch with their groups, showed students where their classrooms were and helped with lockers.

Congratulations to our 8th grade WEB leaders who did an amazing job preparing and teaching our new 6th graders.

Look for more 6th grade WEB events throughout the school year.

This past week 49 incoming 8th graders were trained in our mentoring program WEB (Where Everybody Belongs.) This program encourages leadership skills in our 8th graders to help mentor our incoming 6th graders. These students spent two days at school this week going through our training program and graduated from this program on Wednesday. They have all officially been granted the title "WEB Leader" and received their WEB shirts.

8th Grade students want to welcome all incoming 6th grade students to our 6th grade orientation this coming Friday (August 7th) starting at 8:00 am. We hope to see you there!

Max Larsen Elementary School: 8:25-8:45 in the Cafeteria

Breakfast includes a choice of entree with grain and/or protein, two (2) fruit or vegetable side dishes, and choice of 1% white or 1% chocolate milk.
