Congratulations to our Lady Trojans Golf Team for their big win today!

"The Coldspring-Oakhurst High School girls golf team competed in the rainy Crosby Invitational Golf Tournament today, Oct. 14. We took 1st as a team and took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd individually. 1st place Emma Phillips, 2nd Savannah Phillips, 3rd Macy Strickland, Jamie Wells, and Talor Buchanan."

Our 2021 James Street Elementary and Coldspring Intermediate Open House and Fall Festival is next Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. After visiting classrooms, families will enjoy a costume contest, face painting, games and more. Our Trojans won last night's 2021 Homecoming Game 42-14! Special congratulations to this year's Homecoming King and Queen Eddy Brown and Alexis Chandler! Way to go!

A great man who made a tremendous impact on our school district was laid to rest last weekend. Mr. Johnny Washington served COCISD for over 30 years with dedication, hard work and a heart for others. His influence, quiet wisdom and friendship will be missed by all. Our heartfelt prayers and sympathy go out to his family. He is one of God's best ideas!
