Before you step... take a closer look.

One of my favorite parts of camping is that first cup of coffee in the morning.

How do you boil water for your camp coffee?

At home or on longer trips, I often use a larger pot over the camp stove. When I’m backpacking, I switch to a lightweight backpacking stove to save weight and space.

For this weekend’s vehicle camping trip, I’m using a small camp stove that’s a little bigger and more stable than my backpacking setup it’s kind of the perfect middle ground.

I’m always curious to see what everyone else uses.

Jetboil?
Backpacking stove?
Camp stove?
Percolator over the fire?
Cowboy coffee?
Electric kettle in an RV?

Drop a photo of your setup in the comments! I’d love to see how you make that first morning cup on the trail or at camp.

If you’re training for a mountain, remember this lesson from Kilimanjaro:

Pole Pole.

In Swahili, it means “slowly, slowly.”

Many hikers start too fast and burn out. The strongest hikers aren’t always the fastest, they’re the ones who find a sustainable pace and keep moving forward.

Whether you’re training for Kilimanjaro, a local trail, or your first big adventure, focus on consistency, endurance, and patience.

One step. One hill. One workout at a time.

That’s how summits are reached.

What mountain or hiking goal are you working toward?

I found this on Temu and immediately thought, ‘Every hiker should have one of these.’ Do you order from Temu?

As someone who spends a lot of time hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors, I’m always looking for simple gear that makes life easier. I recently found this tick remover tool on Temu and thought it was a pretty handy item to keep in a hiking pack, glove box, or first aid kit.

Ticks are something many of us encounter on the trail, especially during warmer months, so having a way to remove them quickly and properly can be helpful.

Have you ever ordered from Temu? What has been your favorite find?
