Regional School Programs

Regional School Programs Regional School Programs is an alternate placement for students in the Northern Kentucky area.

The Northern Kentucky Regional School Programs (RSP) serves the interests of students whose educational needs lay outside a traditional school setting. RSP recognizes the array of factors (environmental, family, medical, legal, emotional, etc.) that affect the education and development of each individual student. RSP offers a highly structures program of services, which place a priority on a safe

and orderly environment. The staff at RSP (administrators, teachers, counselors, therapists, and school resource officer) collaborate and work together closely to provide for individual student needs while maintaining and effective school climate and culture where learning is the top priority. The primary goal of RSP is to remedy the educational challenges of our referred students and transition them back to their home school district. If this transition is not attainable, then RSP will work closely with the home
district of the child to keep the student on track to graduate. RSP will maintain a structured and stable atmosphere for children to receive their educational needs. RSP staff members, along with the support of our School Resource Officer, are trained and committed to de-escalating troubled students and situations that distract the learning environment. Every student and staff member will be expected to display respect and consideration for the self-dignity and well being of all school members.
