Congratulations to Ms. Segale and our wonderful Chamber Orchestra Students who received a rating of GOLD for their performance at the NYSSMA Major Ensemble Festival held on May 19 at Hofstra University! Students from grades 7-12 who play in the chamber orchestra honors class participated, and the string quartet (Elizabeth Zhan, Allison Redden, Catherine Ziegler and Isabella Garra) also received a 100 on a level 6 string quartet piece. These students demonstrated exceptional dedication, musicianship, and teamwork, and we are incredibly proud of their achievement!

Congratulations to Cold Spring Harbor’s very own talented music student Zoe Abelson for being elected State Thespian Officer for the International Thespian Society! You may have seen her rocking the stage in the play, the concert, or singing the national anthem!!

Zoe represents all high school thespians in the state of NY, advocating for theater education by speaking directly to lawmakers at Albany Advocacy Day, and organizing the annual NY Thespian Festival. Thank you for representing CSH thespians at the state level! Csh music is so proud of you!
