CCNS - Colchester Cooperative Nursery School Colchester Cooperative is a fully licensed, non-profit, non-denominational nursery school. What sets CCNS apart is the active involvement of the parents.

We offer pre-K education for children starting at 3 years of age (per CT law, children who are newly enrolled for August/September start must be turning 3 by 12/31 of that year) and continuing until they are ready to progress to Kindergarten. We offer morning and afternoon classes, Monday through Friday, and can often be flexible to meet parents’ scheduling needs. Parental responsibilities include

classroom assistance (generally one class/month), committee involvement, fundraising, and general maintenance of the school. Our two primary teachers have been at the school for a combined 50+ years and pride themselves on the love they have for the school, the families, and most of all, the children who join our CCNS community. Fall enrollment fills up quickly, so please be sure to contact us as early as possible to ensure that we can meet your pre-K needs.

Pricing is dependent on enrollment, starting at $160/month for two half day blocks per week.
