M&J has shared the Morning Estimated bus pick up times. They are linked on the website transportation page, also linked below. There is a link for CES & JJIS and a link for WJJMS & BA. There are tabs at the bottom of each linked spreadsheet with the Bus Numbers.

These are ESTIMATED route pick-up times that may vary greatly from the start of school to even one month into the school year. These changes happen because of schedule changes, new students, exiting students, etc.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO BUS CHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF SCHOOL. On September 14th, the Transportation Change Form will become available for you to complete if you are experiencing any issues.

IMPORTANT Graduation Update - Class of 2026
Commencement

Given a substantial change in the weather forecast and based on the recommendation of Dodd Stadium general manager, we have made the difficult decision to move tonight's graduation ceremony back to the Bacon Academy gymnasium.

All previously distributed tickets will be honored as issued:
6 tickets for seating in the gymnasium
4 tickets for seating in the auditorium, where the ceremony will be livestreamed Schedule for Tonight

Seniors and attending staff should arrive by 4:00 p.m.
Doors will open for guests at 5:00 p.m.
The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

We anticipate that parking on campus will fill quickly. Families are reminded that a shuttle service will run between Bacon Academy and Jack Jackter Intermediate School from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to accommodate overflow parking.

In anticipation of America's upcoming 250th birthday, fourth-grade students at Jack Jackter Intermediate School created special pieces of artwork celebrating this historic milestone.

Recently, students had the opportunity to present their work to Mark DiCaprio during his visit to JJIS. Representative DiCaprio met with our fourth-grade student senators and accepted the artwork, which will be displayed in his office as a reflection of our students' creativity, patriotism, and pride in our nation's history.

We are proud of our young artists and grateful for this meaningful opportunity to share their work with the community!

🏃‍♀️🏅 Congratulations to our WJ Track & Field athletes on an outstanding performance at the Connecticut Middle School State Track & Field Championships on May 23!

Seventeen WJ athletes competed against the best in the state, showcasing their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. A special congratulations to the girls' 4x100 relay team-Nikki Poresky, Kendall Scholl, Paige Fenton, and Michaela Smith-who achieved their fastest time of the season and earned an impressive 2nd place finish in the state!

We also celebrate Sophia Sherry, Gabby Mauro, Jack Wissler, Michaela Smith, Kendall Scholl, and Paige Fenton for placing among the top 20 in their events.

Congratulations to all of our athletes on a remarkable season. We are proud of your accomplishments and the way you represented WJ!

CES students and staff lined the halls to cheer on the Class of 2026 during their final CES Walk! 🎓💙

It was a special moment celebrating our seniors as they returned to where their educational journey began. We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next for the Class of 2026!

Third graders at Jack Jackter Intermediate School recently completed the “Home At Last” lesson as part of our LEGO Education technology program trial! Students collaborated, problem solved, and used creativity and critical thinking skills as they designed and built with LEGO materials in a fun, hands-on learning environment.

We look forward to expanding this interactive approach to technology classes for all three grade levels next year!
