Football season…Leaves turning color….the mosquitoes start wearing little jackets?….. for us the best indicator of fall is the annual Little Dixie Shrine Club Fish Fry. Best catfish around and for a good cause. Let’s enjoy some good food and help some kids at the same time!

Tonight, we had the privilege of presenting the proceeds from our recent fundraiser to Zack Jones.

Because of the generosity of so many people in our community, we were able to donate $2,372 to help during a difficult time.

Moments like this are a reminder that when neighbors come together, small acts of kindness can make a real difference. We are grateful to everyone who supported the fundraiser, donated, volunteered, or simply shared encouragement along the way.

Thank you for helping us put our principles into action. We wish Zack and his family nothing but the best in the days ahead.

Colbert Lodge #8 is proud to host a community fundraiser for Zach Jones, a recent Colbert High School graduate now living in Bokchito who suffered a serious back injury.

Join us Saturday, May 30th from 11AM–1PM at the Colbert Senior Citizens Center for stuffed baked potatoes, fellowship, and a live auction by Vernon Smith.

Every donation helps support Zach and his family during recovery.

Please come out, eat lunch with us, bid in the auction, and help make a difference for a local young man who needs his community behind him.
