I think the hardest part about daycare is seeing those babies fly. While I’m so excited to see what their futures hold, my heart breaks a little when we say good bye. It’s a bitter sweet moment.

Wyatt and Creighton, you both have been such a blessing, and I’m thankful I got to be such a major part of your journey!! I love you more than you know!

You see a child at play. I see communication, teamwork, motor skills, and cognitive functioning.

How? Because as each tile is placed to build, these children are communicating their ideas on how to make their creation a masterpiece. Teamwork naturally happens as they pass and share tiles to meet a specific goal. They use motor skills through hand-eye coordination to balance the tile pieces. They are also utilizing cognitive functioning through problem-solving when their tower falls or leans in a new direction to keep it upright.

Therefore, when you look beyond the surface of play, you will see how young minds discover, learn and grow.
