Three cheers for 40 years of Steve Bartlett!!
He is leaving us after seeing Lakes through just about everything. He is a history genius, student behavior guru, and one of the sweetest souls you could possibly ever meet.
Steve is not one for fanfare, but Lakes loves to celebrate. With that, our staff planned a ‘Steve Bartlett’ day, and look at the turn out! Even getting this picture is a major win!! Hooray!!
To know Steve, is to love him. He will be greatly missed. Enjoy retirement, my friend. Lakes loves you! 💙❤️

IT’S GONNA BE MAY 🔊
From piano and guitar performances, elementary tours, reading buddies, and spaghetti structures; it keeps us busy as we wind down the school year! We even had an underground spirit week, finishing out with the teachers dressed for summer.

Our amazing PTSA, Friends of Lakes - Lakes Middle School PTSA, out did themselves AGAIN with an amazing assortment of snacks today. We are so thankful for their care and support for our teachers and staff ❤️
Not to mention, our EXCEL Foundation Coeur d'Alene Grant Recipient, Mr. Fox, was also so excited! So much fuel as we get begin the process to open our new extension of the shop that will include: laser cutting, welding, cleaning, and engraving. Woohoo!! 🎉
