🖍️✨ A FRESH NEW LOOK FOR CRAYON BOX CHILD CARE! ✨🖍️
We’ve been BUSY giving Crayon Box Child Care a makeover, and we are SO excited for our families and community to see it! ❤️
There has been a whole lot of cleaning, painting, organizing, updating, and hard work happening behind the scenes — all to create a space that feels fresh, bright, welcoming, and FUN for our kiddos! 🌈
Our goal has always been to make Crayon Box feel like more than just a daycare. We want it to be a place where children feel safe, loved, comfortable, and excited to come each day — a place made for learning, playing, creating, exploring, and making some pretty amazing childhood memories. 🥰
This remodel is just another step in the exciting things we have planned for our center, and seeing everything come together has made every late night and sore muscle worth it! 😂💪

There's something so special about watching children use their imaginations. Whether they're baking mud pies, creating nature soups, running their own pretend café, or mixing up magical potions, our mud kitchens provide endless opportunities for creativity, sensory exploration, and hands-on learning.
At Crayon Box Child Care, we believe some of the best learning happens through play—and we can't wait to see all the amazing creations our kiddos come up with!

City of Coeur d’ Alene Kiddie Parade 2026 🎉

We are excited to announce that Crayon Box Childcare will be participating in the 2026 Kiddie Parade hosted by the City of CDA on Thursday, July 2, 2026!

📅 Date: Thursday, July 2, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Parade Begins: 8th Street & Sherman Avenue

This special parade is designed just for children, and we would love to have as many of our Crayon Box followers cheer on our kiddos while they make their way down Sherman Ave passing out some goodies ❤️

Our teachers spent the week with the kids honoring our fallen men and women in the service. The kids projects will be hand delivered by Ms. Taylor to the Spokane Veteran’s Home ❤️

This weekend we remember that freedom has always come at a cost carried by brave men and women who gave everything for people they would never meet.
We remember the soldiers who never made it home, the empty seats at family tables, the folded flags held tightly in grieving hands, and the sacrifices that echo through generations. Their courage was not only shown on battlefields, but in the love they had for their families, their country, and each other.
May we honor them not only with words, but by living with gratitude, kindness, and purpose. Because the greatest way to remember those who gave their lives is to live ours in a way worthy of their sacrifice.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
