We have had weeks of sun with our summer camps! Our Girls Who Woodwork camp was a whole lot of learning different aspects of wood. So many amazing projects were made from raw wood to painted or their own lasered design.

Fundamentals of Pottery
Ready to give the pottery wheel a spin? This 6-week beginner series will introduce you to centering, opening, pulling, throwing, and glazing as you build your skills week by week. Expect to finish 3–5 pieces of your very own!

Now happening Tuesday, July 28! Discover the colorful and wonderfully tactile art of wet felting as you transform wool fibers into a one-of-a-kind water bottle sling. Learn color blending, resist techniques, and embellishment—and bring your favorite water bottle along for the perfect fit!

Gizmo is heading to Art on the Green July 31–August 2! Find us in the nonprofit sector on the NIC Campus Green and stop by to talk, create, and learn more about our makerspace community. Gizmo members—we'd love to have you join us, represent our maker community, and show off some of the amazing things you've created!

Leather Stamping Basics
Curious about leathercraft? Start here! Over two sessions, you'll get hands-on experience with traditional leatherworking tools while learning how to carve, shape, shade, and stamp detailed designs. You'll finish by creating your own stamped leather flower coaster.

Team building Gizmo-cda style! How do you let go and recharge in Coeur d'Alene? Grab your available teammated and jump in the lake!

Drop in fun on Thursday July 23rd from 6 to 8pm! Learn to weave! You will receive an awesome laser-cut loom, made in-house at Gizmo, and learn to weave yarn, ribbon, and fabric scraps into a "mug rug" - a perfectly shaped cozy coaster to place beverages or a little potted plant on!
$10 per person and no prior registration required. Come learn something new under the sun(set)!
