Handcraft your own journal or sketchbook in this one night workshop with Angela! 📒

Students will learn how to stitch together the journal paper & cover, leaving with a finished journal or sketchbook & instructions for how to make more at home. Angela typically makes her journals using vintage wallpaper samples for the cover— those & other materials will be available for students to make their own unique journal cover!

Emerge’s 13th Annual Block Party is happening July, 10th!

This massive exhibition features work from over 100 regional artists each year; from film & performance to painters & sculptors, we’ll have it all. As always, there will be activities, food, drinks, music, & performances all throughout 2nd Street, as well as inside of our building!

The Block Party is our largest event of the year & totally FREE to the public. Mark your calendars & keep an eye out over the following weeks for more info on Block Party 2026! 😁💥
