Getting stuck on the wave? Try these 3 fixes: 👇
1️⃣ Get on top of your board.
If the bottom of your board is plowing through the water instead of gliding on top, you’ll struggle to build speed.
2️⃣ Point your nose where you want to go.
Aim the nose of your board toward the back corner of the boat (or the board racks)—not straight at the shoreline. Your board’s “toe edge” should be at an angle, not parallel with the swim deck.
3️⃣ Look where you want to go.
Turn your head and eyes toward the shoreline. First, cut out into the flats, then come back into the wave. Your body follows your eyes!
