Little Folks has been serving families and young children since 1979. Children with special needs are welcome in our program.
The staff at Little Folks know that the early years are important years we share with you and your child. Our philosophy is aimed toward a complete developmentally appropriate program, touching on the physical-perceptual, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth of your child. As you know Little Folks is closing its doors after almost 45 years of childcare. That being said im (klaira) putting something together for Deb, it will be a poster board that a few of us are designing, and my goal is to get as many people, from families she's served, to sign it for her. If you would like to sign you can come by anytime or message me and we can arrange a time and place to meet! Please spread the word. Like I said she's been open for almost 45 years so that's a lot of families she's served and I'd like to get everyone I can! Thank you!!

Announcement:
Dear families, we have been delighted to serve you and this community for the last 44+ years. The staff of Little Folks have faithfully and lovingly served thousands of children in these decades, and we were so blessed to do so in this lovely location and building.
The church we rent from has a new vision for how they would like to use the building, so our lease unfortunately will not be renewed at the end of this calendar year. We are grateful for the many, many years that they gave us a home to minister to children and families, and are rooting for the future ministries they hope to have in this facility.
Our last day to serve children will be Nov. 30th. For end of year tax statements, please email [email protected] to request a mailing of your copy, and include your name, your child's name, your *current address* and their age group in your request.
We want to thank the many supporters of the early childhood field for supporting and cheering our program on for so many years. Thank you to the city of Coeur d'Alene, IdahoSTARS, NAEYC, IdahoAEYC, CACFP, our staff, the center's families, and most importantly, the 'little folks' we were abundantly blessed to know, nurture, and love.

Our wonderful group of teachers had a busy Saturday at a local early childhood professional development conference sponsored by the University of Idaho and IdahoSTARS. All but two of our staff were able to come! Thanks ladies for your heart and commitment to being the best teachers & caregivers we can be for our school's "little folks!"❤️
